There is a number of Qi wireless chargers on the market, both as stand alone top box devices or designed for embedding in the tables in offices, hotels, restaurants/bars or other public places. Our wirelless charger (named WiCh) can be embedded in deaf- or through holes in table boards with thickness from 18 mm to 25mm. Diameter of the hole is 62 mm. The box of the WiCh is fixed to the board by means of two screws only. WiCh is powered from mains adpater 5V DC, 2A or from a computer USB output capable for 2A loads.

Rope pulling is an effective form of all body muscles exercise.
Three models of the rope pulling training machine are developed and offered.
The simplest model has a fixed level of resistance generated by the embedded magnetic brake.
The second model allows the user to manually adjust the level of hardship.
The most sophisticated model has an electronic control module with LCD and tactile panel. The user can choose from 5 levels of hardship. The duration of the exercise, the distance of the rope pulled and the burned calories are exposed on the display. Additionally the user can choose between free running mode and several training programs with different time scheduled force.
At any given level of hardship the pulling forces applied to the rope by the user vary directly proportional to the pulling speed. This allows the user easy to choose the most suitable workout load during the exercise.

The equipment is intended to enhance the functionality of Cole-Parmer peristaltic pumps. It consists of specially developed hardware unit and PC SW.

The control program is prepared as a sequence of time-steps in the form of Excel Sheet. Each time-step is defined by its duration and the pump through-output in percentage in the range from 00.0% to 100.0%. The maximal number of steps is 255. The total time duration of the program may reach a month. The program is downloaded to the memory of the HW unit through PC USB interface. The HW unit is connected to the pump current loop 4 to 20 mA control input. Once the program is loaded in the HW unit memory it can be started, paused or stopped by pressing respective buttons on the HW unit. The HW unit can work autonomously or in communication with the PC. In the latter case a log file can be recorded in the PC. At any time the operator can check the current status of the program or read the currently loaded program from the unit memory to the PC. During the operation a status of the program is recorded in the non-volatile memory. Thus the system continues the operation correctly after power recovery in case of power black-out.

ECETD is for Electro-Chemical Etching of Track Detectors. ECETD is intended for processing (etching) of general purpose polycarbon Compact Discs. The material of the CDs, i.e. polycarbon, being exposed to ionization radiation, particularly caused by Radon, keeps the tracks of the alpha particles. The intensity of tracks is an integral estimate of the intensity of the ionization radiation on the place where the CDs are stored. This can be used for monitoring of ionization radiation in living areas. The tracks are very small and can be visualized by using of electron beam microscopy only. The etching process realized in ECETD makes the tracks visible by optical microscopes or even with unaided eyes.

ECETD consists of electronic control and supply unit (ECU) and thermo-stabilized processing platform (PP). The ECU output voltage used for electro chemical etching can be set in the range from 200 V to 4000 V RMS, the frequency is fixed to 6000 Hz. The voltage is stabilized in the range of ±10 V RMS. An electronic open and short circuit protection is implemented. The temperature of the processing platform is controlled by Peltier elements in the range from 10°C to 40°C with an accuracy of ±0.1°C.

The equipment can work in two modes – Test Mode (TM) and Processing Mode (PM). In TM the output voltage is increased manually by using an incremental encoder in order to check if there is a short circuits in processed detectors. Once the detectors are checked, a PM can be implemented. The parameters of the processing are set and indicated on ECU LCD with touch panel. These include: the ECU output voltage, the temperature of the PP, the processing time. The sound signal informs about the end of the processing as well as about any abnormal situation – short or open circuit, fail of the cooling fans of the PP, power recovery after black-out. ECU can communicate with an external PC in order to write a log file.

Automated wine dispenser are used in restaurants, wine shops, bars, wine tasting rooms, etc.

The wine dispensers offer to the buyers the opportunity to buy wine by glasses in standard doses, e. g. 20 ml for testing and 150 ml for consuming. The wine is dispensed from the original bottles while kept in the most suitable temperature for the respective wine sort. It is recommended to serve the white wines cooled to the temperature, depending on the wine sort, within the range from 10°С (6°С) to 15°С, respectively, the red wines from 15°C to 20°С. To preserve the rest of wine in the wine bottle in free from oxygen environment thus preventing it from losing the genuine flavor, test and color the wine is dispensed from the bottle by supplying low pressure (0,2 to 0,3 bar) nitrogen or argon into the bottle.

Dispensers are designed for keeping from 4 to 10 bottles with single temperature section or with two separate sections respectively for red and white wine.

The “Winebot” dispensers comply with the EU directives and related standards and are CE marked.

The “Winebot” dispensers are developed in collaboration with “Wines from Bulgaria”.

The vision system is built around the Avnet ML605 board with Virtex6 FPGA from Xilinx. It has two mezzanine boards. The Integre FMC200 board provides Base, Medium and Full Camera link interface to high speed, high definition industrial cameras offered by Bassler, Photon Fokus, etc. The 4DSP FMC150 high speed ADC/DAC board provides both analog input/outputs and digital tirggering input. The ML605 board can work autonomously or installed in PC ocupying one x16 PCIe slot. The design implemented in Vertex6 FPGA converts the video data from Camera Link interface to several outputs: 1G Ethernet, VGA, or x8 PCIe downloading video and analog streems to the PC memory using DMA channel. A GUI developed under Linux, Win XP, or Win 7 gives the oportunities to control the video transfer (stream or single frame, frame rate, size of the frames defining the Region Of Interst) and acquisition of analog signals controlling the sampling frequency. The FPGA design provides also real time image processing, particularly edge detection by Sobel filtering. User defined image processing algorithms can be implemented in addition.
